About Ilha Comprida
The essentials for planning your trip
A narrow island with more than seventy kilometres of almost unbroken beach, with dunes, coastal scrub and very little development. You reach it by bridge from Iguape and get around mostly along the sand. One of the emptiest, wildest stretches of the São Paulo coast, ideal for switching off; about three and a half hours from the city.
